Ian Rickson and Kristin Scott Thomas reunite to bring a fresh staging of a Chekhov classic to life. Scott Thomas previously starred as Arkadina in Rickson’s acclaimed production of The Seagull, which played in both London and on Broadway—a performance that earned her the Olivier Award for Best Actress.

Most recently, Kristin received the inaugural Leading Light Award at the Women’s Prize for Playwriting, honouring a lifetime of artistic achievement and her outstanding contribution to culture. Her many accolades also include a BAFTA and Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Four Weddings and a Funeral, a BAFTA nomination for Darkest Hour, and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for The English Patient.
